Here is my review of this move from love-shy in 2012:
I just watched this movie. The reason that this movie was able to be made is because the main characters are liberals. The point of the movie is how nasty everyone in America is, which is entirely correct. But the irony is that Americans only recognize the nastiness of all other groups, never of their own group. So liberals believe all non-liberals are nasty, conservatives believe all non-conservatives are nasty, Christians believe all non-Christians are nasty, Atheists believe all religious people are nasty, etc. And of course they are all right because basically all Americans are nasty worthless scum. By having the main characters be liberals, and only kill non-liberals, the director was able to get this film made because it will mainly appeal to self-righteous liberals. The people here who think this relates to incel are guilty of the same us versus them thinking. This movie has nothing to do with incel and everything to do with incivility. This movie is a liberal version of "Falling Down". Of course I enjoy watching American jerks get shot, so I enjoyed the movie. But back in the real world, I just do my best to avoid American culture.
