I am sure they made lots of money.  Anyone beyond the reach of the FBI, meaning a non-American who doesn't travel to America, could go into this business and makes lots of money.  I would be glad to help, just to say "fuck you" to America and the FBI, but of course I couldn't be a part of the business for legal reasons.  The website was a simple site where users paid for access to user reviews of prostitutes.

I'd be interested, but wouldn't it require an American domain that the feds could still seize.

I don't think the feds can seize a domain unless the domain is registered with an America company.  I use http://www.internetbs.net/ which is in Panama.
